This is our first podcast from Ramon “DJ El Rock” Martinez. If you’ve lived in Philly for a while, you probably know Martinez as a passionate advocate of  rock in Spanish and alternative Latin music. He has is a passionate advocate of international music that you won’t hear on the radio—things in other languages, in other words, but also in English from obscure places. He’s been a participant in the Latin Alternative Music conference for almost a decade now, and he has brought artists has brought some of the artists from the Nacional label to the area as well as to the ears of the local radio outfits like WXPN, WKDU and the defunct Y100. Has has a web show on Y-Not Radio and now he has a podcast here. We’re completely and totally excited to have him on the Tek Lado team. Come visit us every two weeks to hear Ramon’s latest podcast.
