NERD Island: Not a New Reality Show

Posted by

Wouldn’t it be great if the next Survivor only allowed geeky people to participate? Like they’d all be playing chess all day instead of doing the challenges. It would be so cute. But NERD Island started with Space 1026er Aryon Hoselton, who was a Mummer who needed a warehouse to pursue his Mummery. Now his website describes the project this way:

NERD Island is an online artist collective that provides like minded artists the opportunity to collaborate on projects and performances. We began in a warehouse, full story found on ArtJaw, then became a Social Networking Mummer Brigade and are now a loose collective of artists, dancers, musicians and fun time makers who are looking to collaborate and make art together.

Though there are only a few days left until the parade, maybe you could still be a part of things if you live in Philly.
