Okay, it’s true, we disappeared for a little bit. More than a little bit. Kind of like a month. Ish. There were complex reasons for that but we’re not allowed to talk about them. Which is good because I’ve always wanted to be one of those people who says, “I wish I could tell you the number of the settlement, but the terms with [the Archdiocese; the hospital; the chemical plant, etc.] requires that I not divulge it.” Not that there was any settlement in this case, mind you, but it makes me feel vaguely mysterious anyway.
So here we are, me and Mel Gomez, ready to take on the world of technology, write large and writ Latino. (But not writ in print; we’re, like, so over paper.) La visión del sitio web no ha cambiado mucho — tal vez un poquito. Para aprender más, click here.
Y ahora vamos a continuar como el tiempo no se ha volado, or however you want to put it. Personally, I’m going to look into how Rahm Emanuel handles the issue of technology in his life. Now that he’s the new mayor of one of the country’s largest cities, that shit is going to matter. Much more, I’d venture to say, than his White House tantrums did. Oh, and I know Rahm isn’t Latino, but he has a nice Spanish-sounding last name.
We are so happy, alegre, contenta to be back. Emocionantes. Verklempt. So ahora, don’t forget about us. We’ll see you right here, every frickin’ day. Más o menos, if you know what I mean.
Love and besos to all.
