What You’re Doing Tonight: 127 Hours

Posted by

There’s nothing better than a movie seen in the great outdoors. Well, maybe one thing: a movie in the great outdoors that stars James Franco and co-stars a bloody, amputated limb.

I continue to marvel at how Danny Boyle made this story so suspenseful given everything we already knew about the plot. But he did it. Sometimes it’s a little like a glorified music video, but Franco remedies all that. It’s a powerful performance. You’ll be glad to be watching it outside, though, because the claustrophobia of it is intense.

WHAT: Screening Under the Stars
WHERE: RiverStage on Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing, Columbus Boulevard at Chestnut St.
WHEN: Dusk (around 8:20)
HOW MUCH: Free!

This is a great movie! We thought it will just be a so-so movie but we were wrong. It got few cast but it was terrific. Everything is great!
