Sprint has suffered from it’s lack of access to the iPhone, but this is all going to change. Sprint will start selling the iPhone 5 coming mid-October. Sprint is joining AT&T and Verizon as the only three carriers who will carry the iPhone 5. The Wall Street Journal is saying that the iPhone 5 will be available at the same time as the other two networks.
This isn’t unexpected as Sprint lost $847 million in its last quarter. Since this news, Sprint stock has gone up 10%
Sprint will also be carrying the iPhone 4 at a lowered price. This now leaves T-Mobile as the only major U.S. carrier without the iPhone. However, it is rumored that Apple may be going after a distribution deal with T-Mo. This will bring Apple one step closer to taking over the world.
