Morning Crush: Hana Hotaru / Nose Breather Light

I know we’ve said it before, but we really must say it again: Only in Japan. Noda Akira went to a MAKE Tokyo meeting in 2007 to show off the little light he sticks up his nose. It glows when he breathes out. It’s not clear to me what the advantages are, but I suppose it does look nicer than the empty cavern of one’s nostril. Plus, look what happens in the dark:
