Tek Lado Rewind: Is 1987 Really Vintage?

Posted by

Christ, I’m getting old. Here’s an product posted under “Vintage” on Etsy. Seller Amy (who adores question marks) says:

This is a blast from the past! Created in 1987 this toy computer has the appearance of the first computers I learned on! This working toy features a number of math games, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division as well as a play back feature that lets you make music with the notes do, re, me, fa, so, la, ti, do that are linked with the numbers! You can play the notes then press the button to repeat back the tune. There appears to be a headphone jack in the back which I think could be hooked to a computer for recording great techno beats, DJ style. It takes 6 C batteries (not included). It is in very good condition.

The price has been reduced too for a New Year’s sale. Less than $20! Buy it now, as they say.
