Amidst Samsung’s legal turmoil with Apple, we’re given a gem of virality from our darling neighbors to the north.  The story is sure to bring a smile to our faces and renew our love for the patent-infringing electronics manufacturer.

Shane Bennett loves Samsung products.  He loves them so much that he sent the following message to Samsung’s Canadian Facebook page.

Imagine Shane’s surprise upon receiving Samsung’s cheeky drawing in return.  The kangaroo response alone was enough for the correspondence to go viral back in May, warming the hearts of Samsung lovers everywhere.

The story doesn’t stop there.  Shane was recently contacted with news that he’d be receiving a special package from Samsung Canada.  The contents?  A brand new Galaxy S3 adorned inside and out with Shane’s Fire-breathing dragon.

The phone is not only one of a kind, it’s the only customized Galaxy S3 in all of Canada.  Samsung surely outdid itself.  Shane’s dragon found its way onto the back plate of the phone as well as the front which seamlessly integrates with the phone’s custom dragon wallpaper.  Both the box and included thank you note from Samsung Canada are adorned with the fire-breathing beast atop a Galaxy S3.

Shane–  Though your phone may be covered with this ridiculously hideous dragon, rejoice!  It was free.  You’re a web celeb and you can be proud each time you pull out that dragon.  Oh, Canada… Thank you for giving us the opportunity to ignore the legal nonsense and focus on the happy little gestures that make a company great.  RAWR!
