Agrisaurus Makes Urban Farming Easy

Posted by

So you want to grow your own food.    You know where to buy plants and how to get them into the ground, but beyond that you’re lost.  You weed your plants and water your plants.  You even check on your plants, but don’t really know what you’re checking for.  Wouldn’t it be great if there was an app that knew everything there is to know about gardening?

The good people at Farmscape want to place all of their gardening expertise in the palm of your hand.  They’ve turned to Kickstarter, and folks like you and me, to make it happen.

The Agrisaurus app is designed to make urban farming more successful, providing the advice and reminders needed to gain  a greater yield from a small space.

Agrisaurus gives you everything you need for a bountiful harvest:

  • Perfects the layout of your garden, organizing and spacing plants based on their particular needs.
  • Delivers an optimized, editable planting schedule that predicts yield, customized for your zip code
  • Keeps you updated with email alerts to remind you about planting dates, proper care, and weather alerts.
  • Provides a virtual plant encyclopedia with all the pertinent plant info.

Agrisaurus is currently in the prototype stage, but backing the project will give you access to the Beta Version.  Other perks include post cards, seeds, t-shirts, a Farmscape raised-bed modular kit, and even a private consultation and design for your home garden.
