This is the second trailer for Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ “The Dark Knight Rises”, the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. Okay, so the geek in me gave me got chills while watching this trailer. Watch the trailer and see if it lives up to your expectations.

China has come a long way in 2011 while the U.S. continues to decline. I see a superpower reversal in our future, and while that seems far-fetched to many who still think of China as the Great Wall and people on bicycles, see the video below: MAD architects: ordos museum completed from designboom on Vimeo. Pope Benedict XVI switched on the world-famous Christmas tree in Gubbio, Umbria, Italy yesterday using a Sony Android tablet. He was in Vatican City, while his Android button-pressing was broadcast live in the town (Angels sing). The Christmas tree takes [...]

Remember a while back we wrote about NASA looking for new astronauts? It looks like the search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) has resumed at the Allen Telescope Array in northern California. The project was suspended for months due to a lack of funding. Thanks to public funding, and support from the US Air Force, SETI’s telescopes will once again resume [...]

I feel sorry for Timelines.com, which is a cool site that allows users to post information about a historical event so that the site encompasses many years of history. The home page opens to This Week in History and you can search by topic (assassinations) or by date. On my exact birthday, for instance, Dr. Seuss got married. On my [...]
