Star Trek 2 Starts Shooting in Winter

It was previously suggested that Abrams was to direct the sequel, but had not committed or set a date for production to start. Now, it’s confirmed. Star Trek 2 will not make its original June 2012 release date, but production is set to start this winter. Source: Vulture Blog
